Ey swayel good day I am grateful to share from my home community of Th’ewali (Soowahlie First Nations) Cultus Lake, BC. My family community connections also includes Xaxlip (Fountain First Nations) Lilloett, BC. My community of Th’ewali is also connected to Tsel’xweyeqw Tribe and is also one of the 24 communities along the Fraser River which we have called home for generations since time immemorial. I am also Proud to be Sto:lo. I hold up my hands to all my mentors who has given me the courage to continue on with sharing teachings that way that I believe is thru ‘heart work’ teachings. Each and every day I am grateful and humbly blessed to honor Indigenous perspectives.
